The SF Fleet currently uses the J111 association class rules.
The world J111 association is in the process of revising a few of the rules. A worldwide conference is working on removing the "Two Jboat employee" Cat 3 exemption and adjusting the rules related to the roller furler work around that has split the european fleet. The update is expected to be ratified in the second half of 2015.
Fleet 5 has added local Fleet Association Rules as of March 2015. These organize owners, local meetings, set the San Francisco Fleet Championship regattas, and other local additions to the ISAF J111 fleet rules.
Fleet 5 has chosen regattas for inclusion in the 2016 season championships. Individual owners may choose to add other races, particularly offshore races, to their annual schedule. See Racing for details.
